Tests have confirmed that the Impact curling broom enables maximum performance in carry, hold, and carve.

  • Impact Pulsar Foam : Original, soft Impact foam; comes standard on every Impact broom. Ideal for holding the line on soft ice.

The Impact Head consists of four components and is compatible with all Goldline handles. A complete Impact Head requires: Impact Head, Impact Pad Base, Impact Foam, and optionally either an Impact Rec Sleeve or Impact Pro Sleeve.

The Impact curling broom is certified to World Curling specifications and approved for competition when used with Pro Sleeves and Pulsar foams. Evader and Pursuer foams are considered too powerful and are not approved for competition use.

Individually wrapped Impact Foams are available – both for the initial outfitting of an Impact Head and for replacing a foam that has already been used.

Pulsar foams, in combination with an Impact Pro Sleeve, are certified according to World Curling specifications.

A complete Impact Head setup requires a Head, a Base, a Foam, and either a Rec Sleeve or a Pro Sleeve.

Pulsar is the original Impact Foam and comes pre-installed on every Impact broom. It is soft, ideal for holding the line on soft ice, and approved for competition use by World Curling.
